This place is a Chinese-Korean gem in Downey.
I've had Chinese korean food from places all over Koreatown and even Korea and Peking restaurant has got the food downnnnn.
Ordered:
Kang poong shrimp: highly recommend, flavor and texture on point
Jajjangmyeon: classic and delicious black bean noodles, bonus points for offering a small size for around $5. This is convenient in case you want a taste of it but you don't want it as your entire meal
Combination fried rice: another classic and delicious as well
Highly enjoyed my meal here. Who would've thought Downey would have such a legit Chinese-korean restaurant? I was skeptical before coming but I was proven wrong. This place is BOMB and I'm so happy I don't have to drive out all the way to Koreatown when I want my jajjangmyeon fix. -

Stay away from this place it's absolutely the worst Chinese food I have ever tried
I'm so so disappointed that it is the first time I leave a review on a restaurant. Get some Panda Express if you feel like eating some Chinese food,,,it's delicious compare to this junk food. I throw way 45$ come on this is too expensive I ordered orange chicken and broccoli beef, broccoli was over cooked or taste like it was cooked from a week ago everything extremely too greasy
Please AVOID this place
I want my money back -

They will not accept a customer order. They won't do substitutions and over price their dishes. I honestly viewed them much better but with this last visit I regret to rate them as I did before.

So first time eating here. The food was perfectly fine...we ordered pretty standard dishes - shrimp fried rice, orange chicken, eggplant. We wanted mooshu pork but they were out. We were a group of 24 so we were in the group room, but it was a little snug. We did linger a little longer after our meals were finished, but were also told there was another large group waiting so had to go. Overall, this place has good food and would probably benefit from a little updating.

Pretty gross. I'm bummed out. As a grad student without a lot of money to spare I'm always sad when a restaurant falls below its hype. Stopped in here for the lunch special. Ordered chicken teriyaki with fried rice. Just got back to work to eat and this is what I'm given. Cold rubbery chicken with soggy sauce soaked cabbage. Plain rice even though I ordered fried.
Just a shame. Would return for a refund since I'm not even going to eat it
